Here at houseofgaunt, we want the players and applicants to try their best. That doesn't mean you have to write up a 45069850 word essay on them, that's just ridiculous sometimes. While others might feel more comfortable with that, other players may want to try someone knew and might not want to think about having to write a rockin' application to play who they want to play. This game is pretty easy to get into, no stupid bullshit in the corners hiding to get you rejected. You can pretty much copy and paste your information from any application you've done previously into your userinfo. If you are wanting a NEW character that you've never played before, try your best and I promise you can get all your musings out here. We have simple instructions, please abide by them:


1. Most of you will play someone you are familiar with first. You probably have 10,000 applications you've done. Just grab one and put it in your user info.

2. YOU MAY NOT PUT ALL THE INFORMATION IN A JOURNAL ENTRY! Some of it must stay on the userinfo, the rest can go to a link. Having an empty userinfo is shitty and sometimes people like to read them to see if they might want to join JUST to play with you. How are they going to know if you have a bare user info? You can do this in 3 ways:

2a. Have History and Personality on the userinfo, everything else is linked.
2b. Something fancy like this: quirinus having only part and linking to the rest.

If I see your userinfo blank, I will reject it and ask you to put in your information. I want the app process to be quick as I can.

3. Make sure these questions are answered somewhere in your app: 4,5,6,7,8,9 because I'm sure you have the rest already answered.

4. Whenever you are finished we want you to join houseofgaunt,gaunt_ooc,gaunt_owls and tag this entry with: DONE!

5. That's all.

PART TWO

Some of you have never done an app or are so paranoid that you need one to be present, just to fill it out.

6.What is said about your character on the lexicon? If you changed canon facts, what did you change?


7.Look at the available/taken list and put which characters (at least ten names) that your character would interact or be familiar with: The characters you pick should have something remotely in common and should be stated on your userinfo which characters. This will help for others to see who they can plot with.

Example: Gellert Grindelwald - Albus Dumbledore, Tom Riddle, Salazar Slytherin, Ariana Dumbledore, Antioch Peverell, Cadmus Peverell, Ignotus Peverell, Bellatrix Black, Bloody Baron

8.PB: Be careful choosing your PB. Upload one icon on your journal.

9.Sexual Orientation: BE REALISTIC! Sekrit gay characters will be rejected. Please explain your character's sexuality. If there is canon proof, explain.

10.Personality: How are they with others?


11.Family: Tell us about their family members, parents, siblings, cousins, anything. Their relationship with each other, and how your character feels about them. This can be short or long, you don't have to go into this really just something simple.

12.Personal History: At least 2 to 3 Paragraphs.
